ARDROSSAN WINTON THISTLE 5 - SALTCOATS CALEDONIA ROAD 0
The doings of the Winton Thistle boys might be included in these notes. On Saturday (20 April 1901), the Thistle met for the third time this season a Saltcoats Caledonia Road team. The result of the game was five goals to nil in favour of the Thistle. Over the three matches, the Thistle have scored twenty-three goals and Caley Road one.

ARDROSSAN WINTON THISTLE 5 - HARBOUR SWIFTS 3
The smart juvenile team known as the Winton Thistle beat the Bluebell last Friday evening (17 May 1901) by six goals to one and on Tuesday evening (21 May 1901), they accounted for the Harbour Swifts by five to three. In the second game, Cook and Goodwin were best for the Thistle and McCarroll and McKay for the Swifts.

Ardrossan Winton Thistle was again mentioned in the Herald of 13 March 1903.

ARDROSSAN ACADEMICALS 3 - ARDROSSAN WINTON THISTLE 3
The Academicals met Winton Thistle at North Crescent Park, Ardrossan last Saturday (7 March 1903). The ground was very unfavourable for football. Winning the toss, Thistle played with the wind and at half-time, led by three goals to one. In the second half, the Academicals scored twice, the result being a draw of three goals each. With one or two exceptions, the Academy eleven played under their usual form.

This is the only documentaion found on Winton Thistle who appear to have had a short but successful career, never having been defeated.
